よくある質問

What is the best armor in The Blood of Dawnwalker?
The Enchanted Armour of the Arbiter — the golden set Coen wears in the trailers. It is a level-32, 320-armour piece with percentage bonuses to weapon, claw and witchcraft damage plus health and stamina regeneration, earned by completing its dedicated questline and a final beast fight at the blacksmith's forge.
Where do you get mercury for the Arbiter armor?
Mercury is the hardest component. Clear the Tower of Aurelius at the bottom of the map, defeat its mini-boss and enter the dream world; after completing the dream sequence you reach the tower's top floor through the dream door, where the mercury is.
Can you get the saint's relic if you killed Anca?
Yes. Complete the 'Study of the Crimson' quest in town, then buy the saint's relic from Vegranth. It is expensive, so the free path during 'Echoes of the Silenced Bells' is strongly preferred.
What is the best vampire armor in The Blood of Dawnwalker?
For claw-and-blood builds: the Isban Plate chest (Hive and Seek quest), Isban's Greaves (a chest after killing gremlins), the legendary threads (Cycle of Love court quest) and Woven Bracers (a hidden cave chest, no quest required) — all obtainable within roughly 3–4 in-game days.

What Is the Best Armor in The Blood of Dawnwalker?

The flagship armor is the Enchanted Armour of the Arbiter — the golden set Coen wears in the game’s trailers. It is a single high-tier chest piece at level 32 with 320 armour, and getting it is a proper side campaign: its own questline, four hard-to-find components, and a fight at the end.

The video capture below shows the exact stats on the piece once forged — the sort of numbers that make it worth the detour early, since the bonuses multiply every playstyle documented on the /guides/skill-trees/ page:

Captured bonuses include +10.6% weapon damage, +10.9% claw damage, +14.4% witchcraft ability damage, +15% max health, +10.8% adrenaline charge restoration and +20% action charge restoration from perfect blocks — in other words, it feeds the human sword game, the night claw game and witchcraft at once.

How Do You Start the Arbiter Set Questline?

The quest starts itself: walk the main city of Swartrau and a messenger approaches Coen with a letter. From there, the objective points to the city blacksmith (marked on your map), who sends you out for four crafting components:

ComponentWhere to get it
Saint’s relicDuring Echoes of the Silenced Bells, inside the monastery with Anca
MercuryTop floor of the Tower of Aurelius, behind the dream world
Silk threadsBuy for ~6,000 coins, or free during the A Beautiful Home → Come Here quest chain
Giant lizard moltLying on the cave floor in the Reliquary area

Where Do You Find Each Arbiter Component?

The Saint’s Relic (Monastery, with Anca)

The relic sits inside the monastery during Echoes of the Silenced Bells, the quest where you accompany Anca. You enter the monastery together, and the interior is hostile — the creatures she warns you about are real and patrolling the halls:

The search itself is quiet looting: search the crypt furniture and containers for quest items — a rosary and a prayerbook are among the pieces you pocket along the way:

Mercury (Tower of Aurelius Dream Sequence)

Mercury is the hard one. Head to the Tower of Aurelius at the bottom of the map, fight to the mini-boss, then step through the door behind him into a dream world where Coen’s family is alive:

The dream is a gauntlet: you are under-equipped and must save your mother first, then your siblings, then your father after a boss fight. The sequence then loops — and the second time around, you can interact with the village well to turn your family into vampires, opening a new cave path. Near the end you reach a funeral where you complete sentences with the right names, then climb down the cliff past your dead sister and wake up. You can kill and loot the astrologer here for a few useful items.

Back in reality, return to the top of the tower through the dream door — the mercury is on the top floor, flagged as forging material for the armor.

Silk Threads and Giant Lizard Molt

  • Silk threads cost about 6,000 coins from traders. To get them free: start A Beautiful Home, which triggers Come Here — clear that quest’s boss and the thread is on the cave floor.
  • Giant lizard molt needs no fight at all — it is lying on the ground in the Reliquary cave:

How Do You Finish the Arbiter Set?

Bring everything back to the blacksmith and one last trial stands between you and the set: survive a boss fight against a pack of wolves and a bear at the forge. Win, and the Enchanted Armour of the Arbiter is yours. What Is the Best Vampire Armor in The Blood of Dawnwalker?

If your nights run on claws and blood — the playstyle covered in /guides/vampire-powers/ — a different set of pieces outperforms everything else, and all of them come early (roughly 3–4 in-game days of progress):

PieceKey bonuses (as captured on screen)How to get it
Isban Plate (chest)+21% max vampire health, +6.5% claw crit chance, +9.7% claw crit damage, +24 blood drinking restorationHive and Seek quest
Isban’s Greaves (legs)+9 claw damage, −6% vampire ability cooldown, +9 damage vs mortals, +9 claw crit damageChest in a marked map area after killing gremlins
Legendary threads+25% max vampire health, +11 damage vs mortals, +9 blood drinking restoration, +11 claw damageCycle of Love court quest
Woven Bracers+11.9 claw damage, +11 damage vs animals, +7% claw crit chance, +11% claw crit damageHidden cave chest — crouch through the low entrance, kill the wolves, chest at the far end (no quest needed)

The synergy across these four is the point: claw damage, claw crits, vampire health and blood-drinking restoration all stack toward the same night-form build. There is also the Ring of the Night (unlocks at level 33), but good purple and epic rings do nearly the same job — skip it until the levels come naturally.

The Cycle of Love quest deserves a note: to receive it, travel to the court and anger its mistress by completing the side objectives marked on the map (travellers on roads, villages needing help). Each cleared icon pushes her further toward fury — and once she is angry enough, she hands you the quest that leads to the threads.
